I want to rant about the construction in this city. What is with the delays in this city? Every building is pushed back month after month. I think it’s because of the construction workers, rather than commit to finish a project, they just leave the site and decide not to work it to completion. This pisses me of as I have been waiting a year past completion to move into my home. It’s all their fault.

Have you heard anything at all about the worker shortages? Or how the cost to buy the materials has doubled and trippled since many jobs started? Or the fact that many of the developers who are paying to build these places are running out of money and aren’t paying the contractors for the work they’ve completed so far! Why the hell should contractors continue when they are not getting paid for it? Also, it’s so hard to complete a job when the engineers and architects are constatnly changing the desing. If you want to blame someone for the delays maybe you should include everyone. Developers, Architects, Engineers, lack of skilled trades people, the cost of materials, the theives who are steeling materials.
