How hard is it for people to read signs? Why do some insist on standing right in the middle of an escalator at Skytrain stations?
Those signs are there for a reason people! PLEASE WALK LEFT & STAND RIGHT!

I know!! It’s not a ride. Like those moving things in the airports. WALK!
Whoa, whoa & whoa! Sometimes I’m not in a rush to go nowhere and enjoy the quiet contemplation that an escalator ride affords. I do agree with you about having some courtesy for hurried folk. Leave room for them to squeeze past your fat ass. Not my fast ass. YOURS.
NO The Writer is totally right. Escalators are not rides they are stairs that move to quickly move people through if you want to stand, stand waiting for the skytrain or take the elevator. That goes for Malls and Ikea too.
