I support the bus driver that spat on the panhandler who spat on him. I have been on the bus many times where these people think they can get a free ride and if not, they get abusive. Congrats to the driver who finally stood up to the abuse and refused to take shit from these assholes who make transit all the more hellish than it already is.

If we had have been there, that driver would have received a round of applause.

Wow. What a mature and professional way that bus driver has handled himself in. The haircut goes well with the attitude too. Is Translink hiring out of the biker bars now? Can you think of a single other business employees of which conduct themselves in a similar manner (RCMP doesn’t count)?
That “panhandler” should sue - with this video as proof he can take this “driver” to court for all he’s worth and press criminal charges for battery, assault and defamation of character.
