I support the bus driver that spat on the panhandler who spat on him. I have been on the bus many times where these people think they can get a free ride and if not, they get abusive. Congrats to the driver who finally stood up to the abuse and refused to take shit from these assholes who make transit all the more hellish than it already is.

I just read that the Vancouver Art Gallery has run out of space. A top site considered? False Creek! What is with Vancouver? First they want to move St. Paul’s out the downtown core and now the art gallery? What major city does not have a hospital or main art gallery in its downtown core?
What do they want the downtown peninsula to be - a park for Christ’s sake? It’s an embarrassment that more and more key structures and amenities are being considered for a move out. Does NY have all of its main galleries in Queen’s or London move the the Tate to the suburbs.
I know space is limited downtown but does every square km need to be a condo or Starbucks? What a joke.

Vancouver has an abysmal record of Port Security. Thousands of illegal contraband is coming in from China.It’s not checked by the police. Only 3% or less is looked at. Much of North America’s guns and drugs..namely heroin is coming in using COSCO containers.This is all operated by Li-KaShing and his 5th column Communist spy’s running around Vancouver. Get it right for a change folks. We are under siege in Canada and Vancouver is a staging ground for Red Operations.The Liberal Party has been compromised and I understand so was the NDP. A lot of monies have gone to them to look the other way. Ma and Pa restaurants don’t make money so how do they do it you may ask…well simple, they are operatives, doing their little part for mother China. You see folks, China wants North America and Vancouver is where it starts. Contrary to a recent Vancouver Sun propaganda article check out the Li Bloodline, Google it on the internet and read about the likes of Li-KaShing. Not a nice guy!!! Be afraid Canada.

I can’t believe the horrendous customer service they provided me! They accidentally lost all of my vital messages when they upgraded their system. They said a customer service manager would call me back. I got one message from the guy. I left him several messages over the next two weeks to contact me. He never did. Unbelievable!
I finally got in touch with someone else. I had to talk to at least 10 different people and explain everything all over again to each of them in all to get some kind of resolution. Guess what that was? An $8 credit. All I really wanted was an apology and someone to say, “hey, you’re right, we f*cked up” but they said they couldn’t admit liability even though they didn’t know where the agent’s head was at.
I’m disconnecting mine and my parents phone, cell and internet lines with Telus. I’m going to VoIP through Vonage or Shaw digital voice. I’m also starting a business in September with several dedicated lines and will NOT be using Telus. I’m also going to tell anyone who cares to listen exactly what Telus service gets you…NOTHING worthwhile.

With all the proceeds Timmy’s earns from the blood and sweat of our troops overseas, you would think they could afford to train their staff: smile, take my money, make my food, and get me the fuck out. Are they taught to be consistently slow to pad their lineups, and show Starbucks who’s boss.
I understand that people who come from other counties need a job and low end coffee/kitchen jobs are what they can do but they should at least know what the hell they are doing before they go on the floor and deal with customers…
Get it together Mr. Horton et al, and keep my cash in Canada!
